How it works
Three steps from finding a tutor to your first lesson, all priced in birr.
Step 1: Pick a tutor
Filter by subject, grade, price, language and the days you are free. Every tutor listed passed an ID check, a subject test and a tech check.
Step 2: Book a half-price trial
Choose a start time, pay half the tutor’s normal price for your first hour with them. The session runs in Tutoret’s built-in online classroom, nothing to install.
Step 3: Keep going, or try someone else
Book more hours with the same tutor at their normal price, or try someone else. You pay per session; if a tutor cancels, the money comes back as credit.
What it costs
Tutors set their own price for a one-hour session. You see it before you book.
- First session: half of the tutor’s price.
- After that: the tutor’s normal price, paid per session when you book. No packages, no subscription.
- Good-fit guarantee: if the trial is not a match, tell us within 48 hours and we credit you or help you find someone else.
The classroom
Sessions run in the browser with video, a shared whiteboard and screen sharing. If the connection drops, rejoin from the same link. Recordings are made only when both sides agree when booking.
